A New Look and Content Management System Make a Director’s Life Easier

Challenge

A biopharmaceutical company wanted to launch a website allowing patients to find assistance options should they not have prescription drug or health insurance coverage and who, without assistance, could not afford their medicine and vaccines.

Actions

The client asked SPI Group to:

• design a website with an intuitive user interface
• ensure the backend of the site allowed administrators with little programming experience manage key sections of the site, such as product and eligibility information
• provide navigation so users could easily locate their prescribed medicine and determine if they were eligible for assistance
• offer multiple search features so patients could find and select their product
• create an eligibility tool that uses information a patient enters to inform them if they are eligible and if so, the next steps to take

Results

With products often being updated and criteria for eligibility changing, our client could revise the site through a simple administrator dashboard. The website offers patients options if they do not have prescription drug or health insurance coverage and is a source of pride for the organization.
